Requirements
The Opportunity
We are seeking BC Heritage Permit Holders and Field Directors for each Culture Area in BC (Northwest Coast, Interior Plateau, and Subarctic Boreal Forest) for a variety of locations. These positions will provide leadership in project management, client services and technical expertise in various specialized or generalized disciplines and will include:
Lead field work, supervise crews, and collect data in your area of expertise.
Prepare, edit and submit reports.
Prepare proposals as required.
Collaborate with co-workers, clients, professionals, First Nations and stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
Meet Archaeology Branch requirements for Permit Holder or Field Director
Able to work long hours in a variety of physically demanding field conditions
Highly organized with an ability to maintain accurate records
Effective communicator
Results and details oriented with excellent writing skills
Possess a valid driver's license and safely operate snowmobiles, ATVs or UTVs as required
